Aura Sanchez Garrido works as an actress on Spanish TV and films. She appeared in films like Stockholm and the television show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was born in Madrid around 1989. Her father Tomas Garrido is a composer and orchestra conductor, and her mother, Pilar Sanchez, is a painter. Her first lesson in piano was at the age of four. The ballet began shortly after. She had a closest friend, who was fluent in English which taught her to speak the language. She attended the Madrid's Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico after finishing her studies in high school. The third year of her studies, she studied the interpretation of texts and textual interpretation. However, in 2010 she resigned from the school since she was cast as a character in Planes para manana. The role won her a Silver Biznaga in the Best Supporting Actress category as well as an honorary nomination for Goya Awards' best debut actress.
