Melissa Suzanne George is an actress, model, inventor, and businesswoman from Australia. Having started her career at the Australian home of her parents and then moving to Hollywood which was where she achieved great results. George is an Perth native who was interested initially in roller skating and dancing. George first began modeling at the age of in her teens and she was named Western Australia's Model of the Year Award for Teenage Model in 1992. In a show on Seven Network's soap opera Home and Away, she was the first to make her screen debut the next year. She made her film debut in Dark City. Later, she took on supporting roles such as Alias The Limey in Down with Love.
