Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the young age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing, wrestling and boxing before her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd kept building on her victory in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She defeated all her opponents within the first round. After that, she returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen and defeated her in an unanimous decision. This put the mark of a loss on Aspen's record in her amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career as a professional. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and was victorious via submission armbar during the second round. Aspen employed the strong skills she had learned in wrestling to defeat McGill. Aspen ended the fight with a an KO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in an "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd failed to make weight. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina and ground-and-pounded her for a second-round TKO victory. She continued to dominate and got a bigger win during her next fight against Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd ended Evinger during the first round. She also received her a night's performance bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight.
